The most influential words for me….

By Momna Fareed

As the more variety is available in books and also in our mind view, we all have different choices among books according to our nature taste liking, among the authors of present time I like Paulo Coelho most, he is the most influential writer of the time, Paulo leaves an ever lasting impact on the minds of people with his writings, his every writing gave a new direction to person a new horizon to think of, a new mind set. His grandeur of story reveals bigger motives of life along with maintaining the simplicity.

He gives message in a very symbolic form of words, Paulo uses the power of pen as a tool to communicate with the masses and get his message across. He shows his inner journey through his writings which changes a thinking of person and gave me a new perspective to think, as Paulo said in the alchemist that “when a person really desires something, the entire universe conspires that person to realize his dream.

  2. Paulo Coelho was surly the first english writer to influence me that much..before that i have read almost entire urdu collection but Paulo opened a new door for me..

The best thing about him is that his technique to make us understand is the simples among all of his fellow authors...

What is the reason behind his best ever work Alchemist? What is the story? A simple boy starting a journey from no where towards a goal and then putting in all what he could to achieve it..Simple and Easy do the trick..

  4. Indeed he's awesome...i read his first book,The Zahir, about four years ago and trust me that was the beginning. that book opened my eyes to many small things in life that we miss out on.thoses many little things that exist in ourselves but we are too ignorant to feel thier presence or importance...that story literally moved my soul..after reading the book i sat there for almost fifteen minutes thinking back to every word he had written as if he had a put a toungue to a soul and its sufferings...as if the relation between husband and wife is something more than divine and not how we percieve it...almost hard to believe. We feel very little of what his characters feel.. he really goes into the depth of life that one could possibly imagine. a must read!!
