In search of the Divine Guidance

In the midst of the pictures, being shared at social network sites, displaying the violent scenes from protests against that movie, this one status got my attention. This was shared by a prominent social worker, whom I have always found inspiring and with logic. He had simply shared few Quranic verses, without any personal comments. I got curious and decided to check every reference given at the end of Verse and no surprises the Holy Book keeps on mystifying us. I consulted couple of online websites to make sure that these all verses have same meaning/translation and found them correct. The book has given clear instructions for everything and of course Islam always encourages to think with logic and reasoning before reaching any verdict.

I strongly condemn that third rated movie, it is a cheap effort to get attention by bunch of idiots. They have achieved nothing but what they wanted, chaos in the Muslim countries over this. The makers, producers and actors are living peacefully in their own country and here in Pakistan, the land of pure, we are witnessing Muslims fighting Muslims in the name of protest. Those people who died in Karachi protests were the ones who believed in One Allah and His Prophet (PBUH), but so are the ones who killed them? So who do we support here? The cars or police mobile burnt belonged to our fragile law and order system, not to LAPD (though even burning them makes no sense, since it was few Americans who made the movie, not America itself). The peaceful protest is right of every person in the country and I don't see any harm in people coming on roads, doing walks, raising slogans. That is allowed in every civilized country but why the fighting your own "Muslim brothers" i.e. Police? They wanted to reach US Consulate, and who knows what could have followed. We already saw a US Ambassador losing his life in Libya but what did that result in? No Muslim can even think of bear the thought of Prophet (PBUH) but killing our own people or anyone else is not the answer. Without adding anything I am leaving you with those Qurani Ayats I came across:

Blasphemy:
Divine guidance in such challenging times:

"And (Mu'minoon are such that) when they hear foul speech, they turn away and say: "To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the (ways of the) ignorant." (Quran, 28/55)"

"And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better[3450] (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury):[3451] but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our God and your God is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam) (Quran, 29/46)"

"Repel the evil deed with one that is the nicest ... And none will be granted such goodness except those who are steadfast ... And none will be granted this except those who are most blessed. (Quran, 41/34-35)"

"And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together –

"And the servants of (God) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; (Quran, 25/63)

  1. An Excellent and precise piece with much needed references. I hope we as Ummah will be able to unite and counter such derogatory attempts on our religion and Prophet (S.A.W.W) peacefully and more effectively.
